Aishwarya Rai was also seen behind him. For the travel, Abhishek wore a tie-dye sweatshirt, white pants, and white sneakers. He also wore yellow sunglasses. Aishwarya was dressed in white and black ethnic wear with heels. She also opted for dark sunglasses.

Abhishek clocked his 47th birthday on Sunday and the duo seemingly returned to Mumbai after celebrating the occasion. On Sunday night, Aishwarya posted a smiling picture of Abhishek on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Birthday love… today and forever, Baby.” She also added heart emojis to her caption.

Abhishek and Aishwarya fell in love on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s Guru. They dated for a while before getting married in 2007. The couple became parents to daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.

Last year, in an interview with ANI, Abhishek opened up about how Aishwarya taught him to deal with negative criticism. He had said, “My wife once told me that, ‘You get 10,000 positive comments but you get affected by one negative comment. You should concentrate on positivity and experience the beauty of the positive world’.”

He had added, “So, I always try to look at things with positivity. You can’t deal with failures…failures deal with you. The only thing matters is how you come out of it. I don’t let failures and criticism affect me negatively, I take them as positives to better myself as a person and professional. I always try to make my failures a lesson.”

Abhishek will be seen in a special appearance in Ajay Devgn’s directorial Bholaa. The film is an official Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit Kaithi. It has been styled as the story of a “one-man army, set in one night, fighting a multitude of enemies in various forms, human and otherwise.” The original film revolved around an ex-convict, who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught in a face-off between police and the drug mafia. Bholaa will release in March.

Aishwarya was recently seen in director Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus period action drama film Ponniyin Selvan -1 which gathered massive responses from the audience. Apart from Aishwarya the film also starred Trisha Krishnan Karthik Sivakumar and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles.

She will be next seen in another south film Jailer alongside Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Shiva Rajkumar. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
