It’s day one of the two-day 2023 Amazon Prime Day sale, and it’s not too late to score steep discounts on your most wanted Apple products.

Whether you need a serious tech upgrade or you’re just scouting for gifts or nice-to-haves, there are bona fide savings to be had across the whole Apple ecosystem. Savings apply to both previous- and current-generation cyber icons: MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods.

There’s never been a better time to become a member of Jeff Bezos’ behemoth and save money on stuff you actually want. Here are some of the top Apple deals that we’ve unearthed so far.

MacBook Air — $749.99 (normally $999)

AMAZON.COM

You can save $200 on the revolutionary MacBook Air (2020 version), one of the best picks for Apple laptop users. With a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels, the 13.3-inch Retina display is super sharp, and the battery life runs for 12 hours when playing videos with the Apple TV app. It features the M1 chip — a major leap in productivity — an enhanced keyboard and Apple’s signature sleek design.

Apple’s latest MacBook Pro is perfect for professionals on the go. It offers a much longer battery life (20 hours) and more ports — including an HDMI port, headphone jack and USB-C port (addressing a previous gripe from Apple users). Its lightning-fast M1 chip drastically improves performance. There’s also an enhanced webcam, three mics and an active cooling system to sustain all your computer needs.

AirPods (2nd Generation) — $89.99 (normally $129)

AMAZON.COM

If you’ve ever wondered about those long-stemmed AirPods and what all the fuss is about, this discount might tempt you to find out. With a few extra features over the previous model, the second-generation AirPods are a perfect backup headset when traveling (though they do not have any noise-canceling capability).

Convenient sensors allow you to pause and resume music by taking the earbud in and out, while the “Hey Siri” feature activates hands-free voice control. Apple advertises a battery life of about five hours, and the pods come with a nifty, magnetically closing charging case.

2022 Apple iPad Air (5th Generation) — $499.99 (originally $599)

AMAZON.COM

The latest iPad Air features a 10.9-inch, anti-reflective Retina screen as well as 64GB of storage and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The new M1 chip improves battery life and overall performance — reaching speeds up to 60% faster. It also features Touch ID for security. Upgrading to the “Wi-Fi + Cellular” (5G) model will cost you a lot more — $649.99 (originally $749). It’s available in blue, purple, pink, starlight and space gray (all colors are on sale).

2021 Apple 10.2-inch iPad — $249.99 (originally $329)

AMAZON.COM

Apple’s previous-generation iPad is also heavily discounted. The key differences are that it has a slightly smaller 10.2-inch Retina display and an inferior back camera (8 megapixels); however, it has the same ultrawide 12-megapixel front camera. It features the A13 Bionic chip (versus the more powerful M1) and Touch ID. Wi-Fi + Cellular versions are available but are not included in Amazon’s Prime Day event. The sale includes both white and gray color options.

In addition to its standard fitness tracking tools, it monitors heart rhythm and blood oxygen. There’s a temperature sensor and car crash detector that automatically calls 911. It has a slightly improved battery life over the Apple Watch 7 (around 18 hours, or 36 hours in low-power mode).

If you just want the most affordable Apple Watch possible to make your trips — and life — easier and more convenient, get the first-gen Apple Watch SE. It’s available for just $149 from Walmart right now with three different color options in the 40-millimeter size. The 44-millimeter size will cost an additional $30.

Avoid that “woulda, coulda, shoulda” moment and stock up now. The price isn’t hugely discounted, but if you can stack some of the other ways to save on Amazon purchases, you could still really come out ahead.
