Coming soon: Conrad Los Cabos will give Hilton loyalists a new reason to head to Baja

Conrad Cabo might be what you called your spring break buddies back in the day, but soon it’ll be where you rally your friends for a luxe vacation in Mexico.

Hilton just announced that Conrad Los Cabos is set to open in 2027, and the Baja resort already looks like one you can’t miss.

Once open to guests, Conrad Los Cabos will offer 111 impressive rooms measuring at least 500 square feet and offering 200 square feet of outdoor space with private plunge pools. Want more? There will be 21 suites and 43 residences (ranging in size from two to four bedrooms) available to book.

Other exciting features of this Conrad include five restaurants and bars: an all-day establishment, a specialty restaurant, a pool bar and grill, a beach bar and grill, and a lobby bar. There will also be a large spa, multiple pools, clubs for kids and teens, meeting spaces, luxury shopping venues and access to a golf course created by World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els.

In fact, Conrad Los Cabos will be situated within Oleada Pacific Living & Golf, an 860-acre resort community. It’s about 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), 30 minutes from San Jose Del Cabo and just 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas.

And though we might have to wait a bit before the resort opens, we can trust that Parks Hospitality Holdings — the team behind the forthcoming property — has plenty of experience building a solid experience in Mexico (and beyond). The company’s other projects include TPG favorites like the Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Hilton Tulum, Conrad Tulum Rivera Maya and (on the opposite end of the spectrum) the Grand Hyatt Vail in Colorado.

Hilton’s big push in Mexico

Hilton is moving fast in Mexico — it’s the company’s fastest-growing market in the Caribbean and Latin America. Hilton currently has over 100 hotels in the country. This includes 10 boutique hotels that were recently added to Hilton Honors through the new partnership with Small Luxury Hotels and 40 hotels in the pipeline.

But Parks Hospitality Holdings isn’t only holding hands with Hilton. The Mexican development company, which boasts more than 10,000 hotel rooms, is also developing the Park Hyatt Cancun and the Grand Hyatt Los Cabos. They are set to open in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Bottom line

Hilton is making big strides in Mexico, and a new Conrad coming to the Baja Peninsula is great for Hilton Honors members looking to earn and burn points under the warm Mexican sun. Even if you’re not a Hilton loyalist, Parks Hospitality Holdings is making America’s southern neighbor more points-friendly than ever.
