Actor Rakhi Sawant has made several allegations against her husband Adil Khan Durrani. Speaking to the media on Monday, Rakhi accused Adil of not giving money for her mother Jaya Bheda’s treatment. She also said that her mother died because of Adil. Rakhi also claimed that Adil told her that he has parted ways with her and is living with his alleged girlfriend Tanu. In a video, shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Rakhi said, “Adil ne finally decision leliya hai ki woh Tanu ke saath rahenge. Kal mujhe bol diya unhone ki, ‘Main ja raha hoon tumhe chor ke, Tanu ke paas. Main uske saath rahunga’ (Adil has finally taken the decision that he will stay with Tanu. Yesterday he told me, ‘I’m leaving you and going to Tanu. I will live with her’).”
She also added, “He used me to get into Bollywood, made a ladder to become a star in Bollywood. He took all the money that I had. I have all the proofs. He has used me–emotionally, physically, mentally. The torture that I have faced! After marriage, I came to know the number of criminal cases against him in Mysore.”
Rakhi added, “Tumne meri ma ko tumne mara hai. Aaj meri ma ka time pe ilaaj hogaya hota toh shayad woh nahi marti. (Crying) Kahi na nahi chora…Tumne kahi ka nahi chora apni biwi ko, raste pe la diya, kangal kardiya tumne (You have killed my mother. Had my mother’s treatment been done on time, then maybe she wouldn’t have died. You have left me with no options…You have brought me to the streets, robbed me).”
Speaking with Waahiid Ali Khan, Rakhi said that before when she entered the Bigg Boss Marathi house, she had given Adil a cheque of ₹10 lakh in case her mother needed anything. She said that when she stepped out of the show, her mother was battling cancer in the hospital.
Rakhi said, “Meri ma dam tod rahi hai hai hospital mein. Bank mein, account mein paese hone k bawajood, isne mere ma k kharche k liye paese nahi diye…Meri ma kaese mari? Adil Khan Durrani ke wajah se mari. Us waqt time pe mere ma ka ek chota surgery tha, us waqt paese dediya hota, mera hi paese uska apna nahi. Woh toh ek bhikari hai, uske paas toh kuch nahi hai (My mother was suffering in the hospital. There was money in the account but he didn’t give money for the expenses…How did my mother die? Because of Adil Khan Durrani. Had he given the money for a small surgery, it was my money. He is a beggar, he doesn’t have anything).”
Talking about Tanu, Rakhi said, “Dono mein ‘I love you’ hua, jismaani talukaat huye (They said ‘I love you’, had physical relationship’. I have the bills from the hotels, their airways proofs. I asked the girl, ‘Did you not feel ashamed that you are having an affair with a married man?’ She said, ‘Mera dil agaya (I fell for him)’. Adil ne kaha (said), ‘Yes I had an affair, I made a mistake. Give me some time’.” Rakhi also said that Adil left their house along with ₹four lakh cash and her mother’s jewellery. Rakhi also said that she will take legal help.
In January, Rakhi confirmed her wedding with boyfriend Adil Khan. She said her secret wedding took place on July 2, last year.
