Sample flights
American offers nonstop flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to VC Bird International Airport (ANU) in Antigua.
Flight options are for travel starting in February, and at the time of writing, there was similar availability all the way until November.
These prices apply to American’s basic economy class, which includes a carry-on bag each way.
There is similar availability on flights from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). However, many flights from those airports will have a layover each way.
If you’re set on a nonstop flight, there’s a United option from Newark. Keep in mind that carry-on bags are not included with United’s basic economy fare, so you’ll pay $35 extra each way to check a bag.
As mentioned above, there are also some flight options from Boston. However, those flights are a bit more expensive, and availability only lasts through March.

Bottom line
If you’re interested in visiting Antigua and Barbuda from the New York City area, you have plenty of options to choose from. There is availability all year for both nonstop and connecting flights from the three major area airports on various airlines. The availability is greatest with American, so American Airlines AAdvantage members can benefit most.
