As Salman Khan promotes Akshay’s film, fans says ‘Khiladi bhi aagae sahara lene’ | Bollywood
Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and shared a video with Salman Khan. He posted a video where he danced with Salman. The two superstars grooved to Akshay’s party song Main Khiladi from his upcoming film Selfiee. Akshay got Salman to dance to the beats of the song and said he is a quicker learner. Their dance video was a visual ‘treat’ for the fans to watch. Their celebrity friends and fans reacted to their dance video as the two did hook step of Main Khiladi, which is a remake of Akshay’s 1994 song Main Khiladi Tu Anari. In the clip, Salman sported a black full sleeved T-shirt with dark pair of jeans. Akshay wore a blue T-shirt with brown pants and white sneakers. In the beginning of the video, the two sat together in a garden as Akshay showed Salman his energetic dance performance to Main Khiladi with Tiger Shroff, on a laptop. Moments later, Akshay and Salman matched to steps of the song, and gave a hug to each other. Both of them lip-synced the lyrics. In the end, the two exchanged a laughter too.
Sharing the clip of them dancing in a park, Akshay wrote in the caption, “And when #MainKhiladi captured @beingsalmankhan’s imagination, it barely took him seconds to get on the beat. Phir kya bhai…bas dhoom machaai!! (Then what, we killed it).” He used ‘Selfiee’ as the hashtag on the clip. TV actor Rakhi Sawant commented, “Congratulations congratulation bhai (brother).” Singer Abdu Rozik dropped heart and clapping emojis. Singer Stebin Ben wrote, “What a treat to watch my stars together.” Actors Neha Malik commented, “Woohoooo” and Adarsh Anand wrote, “Ye wali jodi tagdi hai (This pair is on fire).”
Reacting to the post, one of Akshay and Salman’s fans commented, “Bhai killed. He did the same steps but his swag is (fire) @beingsalmankhan.” Another fan wrote, “Treat to watch fav’s together.” Other fan commented, “Salman and Akshay should do a movie together.” “Akshay you are still strong and super moves”, added one. “Super video, maze aagye (I enjoyed)”, wrote other. Many fans dropped heart and fire emojis.
A few also mentioned how Akshay is the latest star to collab with Salman after Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan. “Pathan ke baad khiladi bhi aagye sahara lene bhai ka (After Pathaan, even Khiladi is here to get Salman’s support).” Another wrote, “Only Salman khan can save Bollywood actors.” A comment read, “Ab bhaijaan akki ka career bacha lege (Now Salman will save Akshay’s career).”
Akshay will be next seen in Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi and Nushrratt Bharuccha. The film will release in theatres on February 24. It is directed by Raj Mehta, which is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Driving License. It will mark Akshay and Emraan’s first collaboration together. Salman has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as his upcoming project, which will release on Eid, 2023.
